The International Society of Automation (ISA) has introduced a new knowledge-based industrial cybersecurity certificate program based on its ISA99/IEC 62443 series.

The ISA99/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist Certificate is designed to help IT and control systems security professionals augment their understanding of the ANSI/ASI99 principles as well as industrial cybersecurity terminology.

International cybersecurity subject matter experts from industry, government and academia helped develop the standards, ensuring they apply to all key industry sectors and critical infrastructure to prevent vulnerabilities in industrial control and automation systems.

The certificate will be granted to candidates who complete Using the ANSI/ISA99 (IEC 62443) Standards to Secure Your Industrial Control System (IC32), a two-day classroom training course, and pass a 75-question multiple-choice exam.
