Dorner expands conveyor manufacturing to Germany
Move speeds up delivery of 2200 Series conveyors to European customers
Dorner has announced that it will begin building its 2200 Series low-profile belt conveyors in Germany, speeding up delivery to European customers.
Production will begin at the company's Dorner GmbH facility in Jülich, Germany, which the company took over as part of its acquisition of Geppert-Band GmbH in 2016. Dorner products as well as existing Geppert-Band GmbH products will be supported through the Jülich facility.
Dorner's 2200 series is a low-profile, versatile conveying line that has recently been redesigned to improve strength, speed and flexibility. Conveyors can be customized with Dorner's D-Tools system, which is available in German, Spanish and English languages.
