While business has been gangbusters, profitability has been down for food manufacturers in 2023. This webinar will break down the results of FOOD ENGINEERING’s 2023 State of the Industry report, outlining the issues food manufacturers faced this year and what to expect next year. FE’s Editor-in-Chief Derrick Teal and Refrigerated & Frozen Foods’ Editor-in-Chief Kelley Rodriguez will discuss the results of this year’s study and offer their insights about what food manufacturers can expect going forward.

After viewing this webinar, attendees will be able to:

  1. Explain why food manufacturers experienced increased sales but had a smaller margin for profit.
  2. Describe the factors affecting why profitability was down despite increased sales.
  3. Offer their companies strategies as to how best to move forward given the current economic climate.
  4. Implement the strategies that will help companies deal with the current state of the economy.
