Biscuits recalled due to potential Listeria contamination

Frozen biscuits were distributed to retail stores

Hom/Ade Foods, Inc. has announced a recall of Mary B's brand biscuits due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

The potential contamination was discovered by an outside co-packer who manufactured the product. The frozen, bagged biscuits have "Best If Used By" dates before September 23, 2018, and the letter "M" immediately after the date.

The biscuits were distributed to retail stores in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin and West Virginia.

Products should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may call Hom/Ade Foods Inc. at 1-855-562-7773, M-F, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time.
