Genpak's Freshtray soaks up liquid and eliminates the need for a soaker pad. Freshtray has tiny, surface holes where purge passes to an open cell area within the tray. Liquid is trapped away from the product and stays there, says the company. Freshtray is available in standard supermarket sizes to West Coast customers.
