Mike Flot has worked professionally in food safety and quality within human and pet food and dietary supplement manufacturing facilities for over 30 years. He currently works for MenuTrinfo LLC implementing food safety certifications for universities and consumer packaged goods, specifically Certified Free From™️—Allergens, and being on a team of allergy and food safety experts for continued life-saving allergy-related efforts. Flot received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Colorado State University and entered food and beverage manufacturing. Mr. Flot possesses an extensive background in food safety, food defense, quality, food production, employee health and safety and sanitation. From sanitation standard operating procedure microbiological and allergen validation to supplier and ingredient approval to final product specification development to job hazard analysis to pest control, he possesses expertise in numerous departments and levels that influence the safety and quality of food.
