Columbus Vegetable Oils Opens Las Vegas Distribution Facility
Columbus Vegetable Oils, a supplier of oils, shortenings, sauces and dressings, has opened a packing and distribution facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada, expanding its West Coast operations as the company celebrates 90 years in business.
The new rail-served facility increases production capacity to ship millions of pounds of oils annually throughout the West Coast. The facility will serve food manufacturers, foodservice operators and retailers. It will offer conventional, non-GMO and organic oils, including soybean, canola, olive, safflower, avocado and corn.
“Our philosophy has always been simple: We don’t sell oil, we sell service,” says Paulette Gagliardo, president of Columbus Vegetable Oils. “That service starts with our people and the relationships we’ve built with our customers and partners over the past 90 years. We’re proud to bring that same commitment to Las Vegas — and the entire West Coast.”
