Argox says its A-50 direct thermal bar code printer features a "Posi-Lock" printhead mechanism to provide high reliability and quality printing on all direct thermal media including difficult-to-print hang tags. The unit prints on labels and tags from 1- to 4.1-in. wide and holds a 5-in. OD media roll for drop-in reloading. The printer is compatible with most bar code labeling software and provides command language for plug-and-play connectivity into many existing and new applications. The desktop printer offers a printing cycle of up to 2,500 1-in. bar code labels per day.
