Featuring walk-behind and ride-on capabilities and an AC controller matched to drive motor power requirements, Cat’s WR6000 and WR8000 series of AC powered electric end-rider walkie lift trucks have capacities of 6,000 or 8,000 lbs., respectively.
The trucks are suitable for food packaging, general stocking and manufacturing applications where long runs, floor-level order picking and the need for maneuverability are a substantial part of operations. The trucks use three-phase AC technology for increased efficiency and optimized energy resources for longer battery shift life. Regenerative braking enhances energy efficiency and smoothes directional changes, while reducing brake pad wear, says the company.
