Extending IT security technology to the plant floor, the Allen-Bradley Stratix 5950 security appliance creates a security boundary between cell/area zones or can be used to help protect a single machine, line or skid; it combines ASA firewall, FirePOWER and DPI technology for the granular visibility and control to protect industrial networks. The appliance includes four 1Gb Ethernet ports, is IP30 rated and withstands electrical shocks, surges and noise. It can operate in temperatures from -40°F to 140°F.
