Farmerville, La.-based Foster Poultry Farms has recalled more than 131,000 pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat breaded chicken patties that may be contaminated with plastic.

The product was sold in 5-lb., 20-piece bags with a best by date of Feb. 15, 2018. They bear establishment number “P-33901” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The problem was discovered when consumers reported finding pieces of clear, soft plastic in the product. There have been no confirmed reports of injury or illness.
