Self-priming pump

APV, a unit of Invensys, has a new high-efficiency, self-priming pump called the APV Ws+. It combines the functionality of the self-priming ZMS pump with the hydraulic efficiency of the W+ centrifugal pump to form a flexible, reduced power and lower noise emitting pump.
Other design innovations include the ability to customize the diameter of the impeller. This decreases the likelihood of damage by small particles in the liquid. The APV Ws+ is suitable for the food, beverage, and dairy industries.
