Washdown inverter-duty motor
March 27, 2003
A new washdown inverter-duty motor in the RPM AC line from Rockwell Automation is designed for harsh environments in the food and packaging industries. The motor features white epoxy paint, stainless steel hardware and shaft, sealed bearings with lip seals and water slingers and e-coated cast iron end shields with automatic drains.
Three NC thermostats, one per phase, offer motor overload protection. They are available in 1/3 to 15 horsepower in 1200, 1800 and 3600 base speeds.
