Intralox introduced a Nub Top version of its Series 1100 Flush Grid Belt for fruit, vegetable and seafood processors. According to Intralox, it is the first belt to add a quick product release surface to the flush grid belt style.

The Nub Top surface is made up of 1.5 mm diameter, 1.3 mm high nubs, spaced 4.4 mm apart which creates a lifting effect that reduces contact between product and belt surface and eliminates product suction to the belt. The surface design has a higher release point that shortens product contact time and adhesion and facilitates a cleaner release.

The belt’s 15% open area offers excellent drainage during production and clean-up operations, says Intralox, resulting in reduced product damage and highly effective dewatering capabilities.
