Available in 1-, 2- and 4-gal. capacities, Ross laboratory multi-shaft mixers are offered for trial/rental. They feature 2 or 3 independently driven agitators working in tandem. The pumps can be used for solids dispersion, dissolution, particle size reduction, emulsification and preparing homogenous viscous mixtures as high as a million centipoise; they can also function as reactors capable of maintaining control of temperature and vacuum or pressure level. An air/oil hydraulic lift is supplied standard for raising/lowering the mix vessel to the agitators.
