Offering tight turns and a small footprint, Dorner SmartFlex helix conveyors have an infeed and outfeed that can be positioned at any height or angle; custom infeed and outfeed lengths allow the conveyors to extend beyond the spiral. The conveyors feature 85-, 180- and 260-mm conveyor widths; a spiral diameter measuring 55.12 in. at the centerline; a maximum infeed height of 18 in; and a 132-in. maximum outfeed height. Able to accommodate loads up to 300 lb. and speeds to 171 ft./min., the conveyors can be set at incline angles up to 7° with a flat top chain and up to 10° with a friction top chain. Typical applications include the accumulation, buffering or cooling of products.
