Gravel Ridge Farms has recalled its Cage Free Large Eggs due to potential contamination with Salmonella. The recall was initiated due to reported illnesses confirmed at locations using the eggs.

The eggs were sold in dozen and 2.5-dozen flats, and were sold primarily in restaurants and retail stores in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. They bear UPC 7-06970-38444-6 and use by dates of 7/25/18 through 10/3/18.

Consumers who have purchased the eggs should discard them or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers who have Gravel Ridge Eggs in their refrigerator should dispose of them, regardless of the date stamped on the package.

Consumers with questions may call Dustin Smith at 205-363-1105, Monday-Friday, 8-4 p.m. Central Time.
