Meat and poultry products recalled due to misbranding

Products may contain allergens and MSG

Huntington Park, Calif.-based Chunwei Inc. is recalling more than 65,000 pounds of ready-to-eat and raw meat and poultry products because they may contain undeclared allergens and MSG.

The recalled products may contain undeclared soy, wheat, dairy, egg and sesame, as well as MSG. The products were produced on various dates from Nov. 16, 2017 to Nov. 19, 2018. The products bear establishment number "EST. P-8110" or "EST. 8110" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were shipped to a distributor and to recall locations nationwide.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions. The problem was discovered during a routine label verification.
