Nestlé USA recalled its popular Toll House Cookie Dough tubes after people found rubber pieces in some dough products.

Ready-to-bake refrigerated tubs and bars of dough also were recalled for the possible foreign matter contamination. The products were sent to the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico.

The recall includes these products with batch codes that begin with 9189 through batch codes that begin with 9295:

Nestlé USA says it issued the recall “out of an abundance of caution after receiving reports of food-grade pieces of rubber in some of these products. We have identified the source of the rubber and have already fixed the issue.”

No illnesses or injuries that required medical treatment had been reported at the time of the announcement.

People with the cookie dough should throw it away. The company asks that you keep your proof of purchase and contact its Consumer Services at nestleproductinquiry@casupport.com.
