Ravi Sheth
Ravi Sheth is CSO of Kingdom Supercultures.
He has a deep background in the microbiome and genomics fields. He received a degree in Bioengineering from Rice University and completed a PhD in Systems Biology as a Hertz and NSF graduate fellow at Columbia University. His thesis work developed new experimental and computational tools to understand gut microbiomes, and was published in first author papers in top journals including Science, Nature Biotechnology, Nature Methods and Nature Microbiology.
Sheth also spent time at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation focused on microbiome directed food interventions to address malnutrition, where he discovered his passion for the intersection of the food and microbiome fields. He was also previously cofounder of an edtech startup in college that was acquired by 3D Systems.
In 2019, Sheth and Kendall Dabaghi started Kingdom Supercultures, which today is actively working with some of the world's largest and most innovative consumer packaged goods manufacturers.
