International Meat Expo 2013

1/29/13 to 1/31/13
Georgia World Congress Center
Atlanta, GA
United States
The International Meat Expo (IME), sponsored by the American Meat Institute, is the premier US tradeshow featuring the latest in equipment and supplies for processing and packaging red meat products. Formerly known as the International Meat, Poultry and Seafood Industry Convention and Expo, we are proud to partner for the first time in 2013 with two world class partners, the International Poultry Expo and the International Feed Expo, collaborating to create the International Production and Processing Expo. Our goal is to forge the world’s premier tradeshow focused on the meat, poultry and feed industries, with opportunities for learning and conducting business for all aspects of the business, from farm to fork.

We are committed to providing world class education and unprecedented networking opportunities to ensure the AMI members, and the entire meat processing industry can participate in the best event possible. All profits generated by the expo are reinvested directly through the AMI to support education, research, regulatory, legislative and media affairs for the meat industry.

AMI is a national trade association that represents companies that process 95 percent of red meat and 70 percent of turkey in the US and their suppliers throughout America. Headquartered in metropolitan Washington, DC, AMI keeps its fingers on the pulse of legislation, regulation and media activity that impacts the meat and poultry industry and provides rapid updates and analyses to its members to help them stay informed. In addition, AMI conducts scientific research through its Foundation designed to help meat and poultry companies improve their plants and their products. The Institute's many meetings and educational seminars also provide excellent networking and information-sharing opportunities for members of the industry.
