Neoplastica S.A.’s multilayer, heat-sealable expanded polyethylene terephthalate (PET) sheets offer excellent barrier and peel properties, and use an adhesive tie-layer of DuPont Bynel resin. These seven-layer, 100-percent recyclable Alightseal and Alightbar sheets can be pigmented to produce a range of colored trays. The Alightseal sheet offers excellent barrier properties to water vapor and medium barrier properties to oxygen. Its rigidity makes it suitable for packaging meat products, fish, frozen foods and desserts. Similarly, the Alightbar sheet is a barrier against oxygen, aromas and water vapor, and is suitable for fresh processed meat, cheese and poultry packaging.
