AmeriPak’s 40E 3-axis electronic horizontal wrapper has an infeed conveyor, fin seal wheels and end crimper that are each independently motor driven. The machine axes are synchronized via a motion control processor for operating speeds up to 90 packages/min. Its compact design saves floor space while offering 4.5 ft. of unobstructed product feeding space. Suitable for using a variety of roll stock materials and printed or clear films, the wrapper has an adjustable forming box that allows fast product size changeover of a variety of confection, bakery and snack foods. Its crimper pause is automatically determined, and product phasing is adjusted via push button on the HMI touchscreen.
