Purdue University Calumet named its campus-based, mechatronics laboratory after a husband and wife team, Nick and Nancy Wilson, who have influenced and supported the university’s mechatronics engineering technology program. AMETEK, Inc. completed the acquisition of the parent company of Dunkermotoren GmbH, a provider of advanced motion control solutions for a wide range of industrial automation applications. AMETEK acquired the business from Triton, a European private equity firm for approximately euro 250 million ($320 million).
