Eriez promoted Nicole Skias to product engineering manager for the Eriez Hydroflow line.

 

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events named PROCESS EXPO 2011 as a winner of an Outstanding Achievement in Sales and Marketing award.

The award recognizes outstanding achievements by show management in marketing and sales activities such as total event revenue and profit, attendance, exhibit space sales, advertising revenue and sponsorship revenue. Merit is based on achievement of defined objectives, including measurable comparable metrics.

 

Sturtevant, Inc. appointed Sam Rajkovich to the position of director of sales and marketing. In addition to being responsible for the overall activities of the company’s sales and marketing and their respective departments, he will play a key role in expanding and supporting the sales representative organization.

 

Hantover Inc., a distributor to the food processing and general manufacturing industries, moved to a new location in Overland Park, KS. The 25,000-sq.-ft. distribution facility required a $3.3 million capital investment.

 

Fuchs North America, a supplier of seasonings, flavor systems and taste solutions, has achieved SQF 2000 certification for its main manufacturing facilities in Owings Mills, MD.

 

Crown Equipment Corporation earned a Gold International Design Excellence Award (IDEA) for the Crown RM 6000 narrow-aisle reach truck and a Bronze IDEA for the Crown QuickPick Remote Advance low-level order picking system.

 

iBakeFoods decided to relocate its operation to a previously closed bakery in Rimersburg, PA, which it is renovating. In expanding its operations, the baker has hired 25 new and former employees of the old bakery, but expects to expand its staff by 90 when it completes additional production lines.

 

Grey Eagle Distributors, the Anheuser-Busch wholesaler for St. Louis County, has agreed to purchase Illinois Distribution Company, an Anheuser-Busch wholesaler based in Belleville, IL. The agreement allows Grey Eagle to acquire Illinois Distribution’s assets and sales territory which includes most of St. Clair County, Monroe County, Collinsville and Granite City.

 

Cargill confirms it is in exclusive discussions with Royal DSM, the global life sciences and materials sciences company, which may result in the sale of Cargill's global cultures and enzymes business.


The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) is set for October 6-9, 2013 in Las Vegas, NV.



Didion Milling earned a superior rating on an American Institute of Baking (AIB) facility audit conducted on August 21-22, 2012.



Trish Bruce was named account manager for Wixon, a manufacturer of seasonings, flavors, ingredients and consumer products.



TÜV SÜD America announced its official 25-year anniversary of business operations in the US.
