The Institute of Food Technologists will host its annual Food Policy Impact Conference on December 6 at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in Washington, DC. The conference brings together professionals in food, law, regulation and policy. Topics will include FSMA advances and approaches, genetically modified organisms in the US and the progress and implications of Canada’s regulatory modernization project. The conference will feature speakers from the Grocery Manufacturers Association, National Fisheries Institute, International Food Information Council, Leavitt Partners LLC, Consumers Union, Food Marketing Institute, Food Safety Net Services, Health Canada and Center for Science in the Public Interest.
