Brett Wood, president and CEO of Toyota Material Handling North America, has been appointed to serve on the 2014-2015 manufacturers board of advisors of the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association and the MHI 2014-2015 board of governors.

FPSA named Gil Williams of Poly-clip System as its new chairman; Tom Riggins of R.A Jones as chairman of the membership committee; Tom Kittle of Handtmann as chairman of the show committee; and Scott Gregory of Bettcher Industries as secretary. Jeff Dahl of JBT FoodTech is the immediate past chairman, while Scott Scriven has moved on from the executive committee to become the chairman of the FPSA Foundation

NDC Infrared Engineering announced the appointment of Karl Schmid as director of customer care, EMEA for its sensors, systems and metals divisions.

Ken DuBois has been named president and Loren Field executive vice president of Younglove Construction, L.L.C., following the recent retirement of Michael Gunsch as president.

James Schak was named product manager of fluid bed processing equipment for Kason Corporation.

Patrick Avelange will join tna as vice president for the Americas.

John Villadsen has joined Adept Technology as vice president of global operations.

Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., a business of Emerson, announced the promotion of Andre Patenaude to director — CO2 business development.

Hughes Company has been acquired by Blackthorne Partners Ltd., with Ross Lund as president and chief executive officer of the company.

The former pneumatics business unit at Bosch Rexroth will reestablish itself as a standalone company called Aventics.

The International Bottled Water Association named Kristin Pearson Wilcox as its vice president of governmental relations.

Jeff Neczypor was promoted to director of sales in the US for Viega LLC.

Ashworth Bros. Inc. announced the retirement of Marty Tabaka, sales director of the Americas, after 31 years with the company.

OSI Group, LLC promoted Sherry DeMeulenaere to senior vice president and chief financial officer, and Donna Bunch Coaxum to senior vice president, general counsel and secretary responsible for OSI’s global legal operations.

NDC Infrared Engineering announced the appointment of Drew Cheshire as
president.

Key Technology appointed Cedric Simmons as area sales manager for the Southeast United States and Peter Wood as process systems product manager.

Performance Packaging of Nevada named Blair M. Vance vice president of sales and marketing.

The Romaco Group is selling its stake in FrymaKoruma AG and FrymaKoruma GmbH to a new umbrella corporation within the Deutsche Beteiligungs AG.

The Middleby Corporation acquired the assets of Processing Equipment Solutions, Inc.
