The American Frozen Food Institute elected eight board members to three-year terms: Rick Anderson, Larry Cope, Wesley Eubanks, Greg Evans, Ed Flanagan, Steve Lezman, Sara Lilygren and Mike McEvoy. In other news, the association added Sanjay Gummalla as its new vice president and promoted Rishi Banerjee to director of regulatory and technical affairs.

Shambaugh & Sons, L.P. named Paul R. Meyers, Jr. as CEO.

Kraft Foods promoted Mark Magnesen to the role of president of its Oscar Meyer brand.

Mondelez International appointed Roberto Marques as executive vice president and president, North America.

Donald Keough, a former Coca-Cola executive who served as president and COO, died February 24 at the age of 88.

Hormel Foods Corporation announced Mark Morey, president of Dan’s Prize, will advance to the role of president of Farmer John.

Bosch Packaging Technology announced plans to acquire Osgood Industries, Inc. of Oldsmar, FL.

Cargill signed a partnership agreement to support Mondelez International’s Cocoa Life program to support sustainable cocoa.

AdvancePierre Foods acquired the manufacturing assets of Better Bakery, LLC.

Mondelez International acquired private snacking company Enjoy Life Foods.

The European Commission has cleared Onex Corporation’s deal to purchase SIG Combibloc.

The Smithers Group named Nathanial Leonard vice president-North America for the Smithers Rapra and Smithers Pira business groups.

McCormick & Co. will purchase Drogheria & Alimentari.

Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. has agreed to repurchase approximately 5.2 million shares of Keurig common stock owned by Luigi Lavazza S.p.A.

Tetra Pak completed the acquisition of Polish company Obram S.A.

Brookfield Engineering Laboratories appointed Nilay Shah to the position of international sales and marketing manager for laboratory products and services.

Industria Macchine Automatiche S.p.A. has acquired OYSTAR Group.
