Cargill plans to spend nearly $3 million to expand and upgrade its beef facility located in Guelph, ON, Canada. The facility processes 1,500 cattle daily.

Nestlé plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Eau Claire, WI. The facility makes more than 200 products including infant formula and nutritional drinks. The expansion is expected to increase annual production from 100,000 tons to 200,000 tons.

Bridor will invest $40 million to double the size of its bread and pastries baking facility in Boucherville, QC, Canada. The expansion will increase production capacity by 80 percent.

Prairie Farms Dairy is expanding its Fort Wayne, IN facility. Construction of the 22,500-sq.-ft. add-on, valued at $8.7 million, starts this month and is expected to be complete in 18 months.
