Land O’Frost expanded its meat processing facility in Madisonville, KY by converting 10,000 sq. ft. into a production area and upgrading the existing 200,000-sq.-ft. facility to accommodate growth.

Lamb Weston announced plans to expand its French fry operation in Hermiston, OR. The project is valued at $250 million and will include the construction of a new line to be completed near the end of 2019.

AAK USA Inc., a provider of vegetable oils and fats for commercial applications, is investing in new processing equipment for its Louisville, KY facility, which will improve flexibility and capacity. 

Cargill will spend $4.2 million to expand its beef grinding capabilities at its Columbia, SC facility.

Carl Buddig and Company has acquired a 280,000-sq.-ft. facility in Montgomery, IL. The lunch meat facility, previously owned by Rupari Food Services, will open this year.

Pinnacle Foods plans to expand its frozen meal manufacturing hub by building a 164,000-sq.-ft. frozen goods warehouse connected to its existing building in Fayetteville, AR.
