Sealing machinery manufacturer Accu-Seal SencorpWhite Inc. announced it reached a distribution agreement with Viking Plastic Packaging / Reliable Packaging Systems.

Accu-Seal initiated discussions with Viking when it recognized the value offered by the flexible packaging equipment and materials distributor, which serves the upper Midwest, a region not well covered by the company, Accu-Seal Sales Manager Davis Olney says.

“A visit was made to meet with their team and it became evident to us that Viking offered all the capabilities and characteristics we were seeking in a distribution partner, namely, a knowledgeable and experienced sales team, broad industry experience, technical support capabilities and an understanding of the value of the Accu-Seal brand,” he says.

Before establishing terms of the formal agreement, the companies worked together on new opportunities and saw positive results. Viking, which has locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin, was eager to establish a long-term relationship, Olney says.
