MEASUREMENT, CONTROL & AUTOMATION ASSOCIATION
The MEASUREMENT, CONTROL & AUTOMATION ASSOCIATION (MCAA) announced its newest officers and board members. Mike Waters, president & CEO of SOR Controls Group, was elected chairman, and Scott Saunders, president of Moore Industries International, will serve as vice chairman. New board members are Deryl Bell, president, Carotek Inc.; Russ Graybill, director product marketing, Yokogawa Corporation of America; Stephen Santangelo, president, Palmer Wahl Instruments Inc.; and Colin Sheridan, president, Tel-Tru Manufacturing Co.

CITY BEAN ROASTERS
CITY BEAN ROASTERS in Los Angeles has begun a flat-fee, craft toll-roasting service on vintage Probat roasters equipped with enhanced software to keep roasts consistent.

VEOLIA WATER TECHNOLOGIES
VEOLIA WATER TECHNOLOGIES
was selected by multinational food manufacturer KRAFT HEINZ CHINA to provide a wastewater treatment solution for its new soy sauce plant in Guangdong, China.

opened the doors to its new state-of-the-art North American protein office/headquarters in Wichita, Kan.

has entered into a definitive agreement with RICHARDSON INTERNATIONAL to divest the Wesson oil brand. The transaction is expected to be finalized by the end of the first quarter of 2019.

JMP SOLUTIONS

has acquired the assets of Alfacon Solutions, a 35-year-old custom material handling solution provider based in Milton, Ontario. The employees now form JMP’s Material Handling Division.

completed its new Food Application Center (FAC), and installation and commissioning of equipment has begun, with the pilot facility to be fully operational by July 2019. The FAC will feature technologies for processing corn, pulses, ancient grains and other food ingredients.
