Tyler Cundiff, vice president of business development in Gray Construction’s food and beverage market, received the Construction Management Founders Society’s Young Construction Engineer of the Year Award at a reception held by the University of Kentucky’s College of Engineering.

The food processor was recognized for its digital manufacturing transformation with the assistance of Leading2Lean, a cloud-based lean manufacturing solution provider.

Blue Diamond Growers took home the innovation award at this year’s International Dried Fruit and Nut Council Congress for its Sriracha almonds released last year.

Now in its 28th year, the awards honor innovations in packaging design, materials, technology and processes.
