Loveshaw's Little David CF-5 semi-automatic case former seals up to 15 cases per minute, depending on operator performance and range of case sizes. It resets itself automatically to receive the next case blank. Jams common with air-logic-driven case formers are eliminated with the unit's PLC-control processor, says the company.

The GYRoCOMPACT M10 tight-curve spiral freezer from FMC FoodTech has a footprint the same width as the previous model, but offers 40% greater capacity. The unit's 40-in. belt expands on the outermost side and collapses on the innermost to create a tight radius and curve, while its patented pulling link is integrated in the mesh of the belt, creating a completely flat belt surface.
