The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) has launched the “AFFI Trade and Regulatory Database,” an online tool the organization says is designed to help AFFI members navigate global regulatory policies that affect the trade of frozen fruit and vegetable products.

Hailed as the answer to state-specific organic labeling laws by some in the food industry, the House Agriculture Committee approved the Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act of 2015 Tuesday.

 Beginning last Friday, organic products certified in the US or Switzerland may be sold as organic in either country.
