Hero AG and Madison Dearborn Partners, Inc., have signed an agreement for Hero to acquire Milnot Holding Corp. and its subsidiary Beech-Nut Nutrition Corp. Hero is a global branded consumer goods company headquartered in Lenzburg, Switzerland.

J&J Snack Foods appointed Don McComas as national director of product development. Formerly, he was the national director of product development for J&J subsidiary, Country Home Bakers.

Susan Bond, a 17-year veteran of the Food and Drug Administration, joined the International Food Information Council as a senior vice president.
