Louisiana processor Foster Poultry Farms has issued a recall for approximately 220,450 pounds of fully cooked frozen chicken nuggets because the products could potentially be contaminated with pieces of blue plastic and black rubber, according to USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

Regulatory officials say the problem was discovered after the company received several consumer complaints about the nuggets and immediately notified FSIS on April 29, 2016.

The chicken products were produced on Feb. 22, 2016 and March 8, 2016, bear establishment number “P-33901” and were shipped to distributors in Alaska, Arizona, California, Utah, and Washington.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
