Hope & Sesame announces new line of nondairy, organic sesamemilks

Product is world's first plant-based line of organic sesamemilks

By Casey Laughman
Hope and Sesame
November 13, 2018

Hope & Sesame, the world's only producer of plant-based organic sesamemilks, has announced the launch of its line of protein-backed, nondairy products.

The products, made from Hope & Sesame's Sesamein plant-based protein concentrate, are available in chocolate, vanilla, chocolate hazelnut, original and unsweetened original flavors. The chocolate hazelnut flavor is vegan and free of dairy, soy and gluten ingredients, while the other flavors also exclude tree nuts from their ingredients.

The company's products are based on sesame seeds, which not only contain important minerals, but can also be grown in moisture- or heat-stressed environments. Sesame seeds average about 125 days from planting to harvest, while other sources of nondairy milk such as tree nuts can take years.
