ARYZTA North America announced a cookie dough line extension at its bakery in Chaska, Minn., due to increased demand for its Otis Spunkmeyer cookies.

Tippmann Group is expanding Interstate Warehousing’s Murfreesboro, Tenn., facility by 115,000 sq. ft. Built in 2006, the expansion adds 16,000 pallet positions and 50 jobs.

Basic American Foods is spending $125 million to expand its prepared food ingredients facility in Rexburg, Idaho, creating about 40 jobs. 

Blue Diamond Growers broke ground on a 52,000-sq.-ft. expansion at its Turlock, Calif., almond processing facility, with completion expected in 2020.

Smucker’s Foods of Canada Corp. will spend $12 million to expand its Sherbrooke, Quebec facility, which makes Eagle Brand and Carnation products in Canada.

On Feb. 8, Danone North America opened a new building in DuBois, Pa., to produce plant-based yogurts and nutritional powders, creating more than 60 jobs. The facility brings total plant capacity to 180,000 sq. ft.
