GEA
GEA secured an order from the SHIJIAZHUANG JUNLEBAO DAIRY CO. in China to supply the country’s largest spray dryer, to manufacture infant formula at a planned capacity of 6 tons per hour. The project has already begun, with commercial production scheduled in the second quarter of 2020.

MAPLE LEAF FOODS
The NORTH AMERICAN MEAT INSTITUTE recognized four MAPLE LEAF plants in Ontario for workplace safety. Three that received an Award of Honor are Speedvale in Guelph, Cappola in Toronto and Walker Drive in Brampton. Toronto Poultry received the Award of Merit.

THE AUSTIN COMPANY
THE AUSTIN COMPANY was selected by an international food ingredients producer to provide complete EPC/design-build services for a new protein isolates production plant in Nebraska. The plant is part of an investment program by the producer to advance core strategic high-growth and high-value product platforms.

UNILEVER
UNILEVER has acquired the holding company of GRAZE, a UK-based healthy snacks manufacturer founded in 2008. 

SACO FOODS
SACO FOODS, maker of Dolci Frutta, has acquired CALIFORNIA SUN DRY FOODS, a sun-dried tomatoes processor.

INDEGY
INDEGY announced the integration between its Indegy Industrial Cybersecurity Suite and IBM’S QRadar Security Intelligence Platform, bridging the gap between IT and OT environments.

GALBRAITH
GALBRAITH construction moved to a new location in Carlisle, Pa.

PROMACH
PROMACH completed its acquisition of CODE TECH, a provider of inkjet marking and coding solutions.

PPC FLEXIBLE PACKAGING
PPC FLEXIBLE PACKAGING acquired Pewaukee, Wis.-based HFM PACKAGING LTD.

FPS FOOD PROCESS SOLUTIONS
FPS acquired majority control of CHARLOTTETOWN METAL PRODUCTS, a builder of custom food processing equipment, based in Prince Edward Island, Canada.
