broke ground on a new $38.5 million, 112,000-sq.-ft. Gulf Coast regional center campus in Pearland, Texas, to be completed by the end of 2020.

new manufacturing facility in Guadalajara, Mexico, is up and running, enabling the company to build and deliver belt and flexible chain conveyor systems more quickly and efficiently throughout Latin America.

and NDS (Nongshim Data System, South Korea) signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on further development of digital assurance solutions, targeting food safety and traceability in the food and beverage industry.

announced the establishment of AVANSYA V.O.F., a 50/50 venture partnership between CARGILL and DSM. Avansya will produce zero-calorie sweeteners through fermentation and will be headquartered at the Biotech Campus Delft, the Netherlands.

HORMEL FOODS entered into a definitive agreement to sell its CytoSport business to PEPSICO INC.

GODIVA CHOCOLATIER
GODIVA CHOCOLATIER
, owned by Yildiz Holding, will sell select GODIVA assets to MBK PARTNERS. MBK Partners will purchase the retail and distribution operations in GODIVA’s markets of Japan, South Korea and Australia, as well as the future rights to develop in New Zealand.

acquired APPLETON COMPRESSOR SERVICE & SUPPLY INC. A long-established distributor of Atlas Copco, Appleton specializes in air installations and associated services.

CAMPBELL SOUP COMPANY
CAMPBELL SOUP COMPANY
has signed a definitive agreement for the sale of its Everett, Wash., refrigerated soup plant to an affiliate of the JOSHUA GREEN CORPORATION, a Seattle-based private investment company.
