Manish Shrivastava is an engineering and operations professional with experience driving innovation at the intersection of food science, biotechnology, and sustainability. As head of operations and engineering at Nuritas, he leads global efforts to scale AI-derived bioactives to commercial production. Over the past decade, Shrivastava has held leadership positions at Nuritas, Air Protein, and Kerry, spearheading projects ranging from a gas-fermentation pilot plant to large-scale fermentation-based food-protection products.
Shrivastava serves as chair designate of the IFT Biotechnology Division and as a Fellow of the Institute of Food Science and Technology (FIFST), contributing to thought leadership and mentorship initiatives. His work bridges scientific innovation and commercial application, with a focus on scaling sustainable biotechnologies that shape the future of food.
