The global food and beverage processing enzyme market is expected to reach $1.69 billion in 2018 thanks to moderate growth over the next five years, according to a report from Research and Markets.
"Increasing health concerns and declining use of emulsifier in food and beverage products provide growth opportunities to food and beverage processing enzyme manufacturers to produce more innovative products," says the report. Currently, four companies contribute about 90 percent of the enzyme market.
