Tyson Foods announced it is recalling over 33 thousand pounds of mechanically separated chicken products due to fears of Salmonella contamination. According to a USDA release, the products were not sold in retail stores but have been linked to seven illnesses in a Tennessee correctional facility. The products were produced October 11, 2013.
