Bimbo Bakeries USA issued a voluntary recall of Thomas’, Sara Lee and Jewel Bagels in several Midwest states because the products may contain undeclared peanuts and almonds.

According to Bimbo, the problem was discovered after the bakery that produced the products found peanuts and almonds were present in an ingredient used to manufacture the bagels.

No illnesses have been reported in association with these products.

All recalled products are being removed from store shelves in.  No other Thomas', Sara Lee or Jewel product are involved in this recall.

The recalled product contains the bakery code number 30088 printed on the plastic tab closure to the left of the best by date.
