New video series focuses on food safety advancements in poultry industry

Part of the Poultry Insight series, USPOULTRY created several videos that address food safety advancements in the poultry industry.

According to USPOULTRY, the videos discuss how the modern food safety system was developed, how food safety is implemented and current practices at both the farm and processing plants. The videos will also focus on HACCP and discuss how the management system works.

“USPOULTRY and our members recognize consumers have questions about the poultry industry’s food safety practices,” said John Starkey, USPOULTRY president. “This series of videos is designed to provide a general overview about food safety in the poultry industry, and we welcome any feedback from consumers who have additional questions.”

 A video addressing food safety advancement areas can be found here on YouTube while the videos addressing individual areas can be found here.
