The Foundation of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FFPSA) has announced the recipients of ten $5,000 Career Development Scholarships for the 2015-2016 school year.

The winners include family members of employees from FPSA members: R.A. Jones, FISKE Brothers, F.R. Drake Company, Provisur Technologies, United Stainless, TREIF USA, REISER, SPX Corporation, The Dennis Group and Brady Corporation. Nearly 100 applications were submitted to the independent selection committee.

“Once again we have had outstanding participation from our members in this very important program,” remarked Scott Scriven, vice president, slicing business unit, Provisur Technologies and chairman of the Foundation of the Food Processing Suppliers Association. “I would like to congratulate the ten winners, and also thank all those who applied. The application period for the 2016-2017 academic year will open in January 2016, and I encourage all eligible individuals to apply next year.”

  FFPSA established the scholarship program in 2005 as a way of promoting the careers and professional development of FPSA member employees who work full time and their immediate family members.
