Haribo, a German candy manufacturer, has chosen to build a new $242 million facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

TRU Aseptics has acquired the former Wild/ADM 63,000-sq.-ft. facility in Beloit, WI. The ingredient maker expects to have the plant fully operational by September 2017 with 45 employees.

Americold broke ground on the expansion of its Clearfield, UT regional distribution center. This project will add 6.5 million cu. ft. of temperature-controlled warehouse space to its existing 11.2 million-cu.-ft. facility.

NOW Foods, a maker of natural foods, opened a 200,000-sq.-ft. distribution facility in Roselle, IL.

Slated to be fully operational in September, the new Dairy Farmers of America plant in Garden City, KS represents a $235 million investment in a facility that will process 4 million pounds of raw milk per day.
