As part of a seven-year, $110 million expansion, Patrick Cudahy Inc. will add 27,000 sq. ft. to its current distribution center in Cudahy, WI. The additional space will be used for logistical plant support and other needs. It is scheduled to open this Fall.

Praxair opened a production and distribution facility in LaMarque, TX, for its UltraIce dry ice. The plant supplies a global airline caterer in Dallas and features automated equipment to produce, cut and wrap blocks, nuggets, rice and slices of dry ice.

Perdue Farms will expand its Kentucky plant, adding 16,000 sq. ft. of space per floor. The top floor will house a dry cooler with storage.
