ConAgra selling private label brands business to TreeHouse Foods

Omaha, Nebraska-based All American Meats, Inc. has issued a recall for approximately 167,427 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, according to USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

Non-fatal workplace injuries decreased in 2014

Despite nearly three million non-fatal workplace injuries and illnesses reported by private employers last year, results from a recent Bureau of Labor Statistics’ survey show the total recordable cases incidence rate fell 0.1 cases per 100 full-time workers.

Physicians Committee seeks to ban processed meats in school lunches

Cargill to close PA chocolate-processing plant, centralize North American cocoa and chocolate business
